Chocolate is amazing. Chocolate mousse is amazing. Healthy chocolate mousse with avocado?? Even better! I’ve tried a number of recipes for Avocado Chocolate Mousse/Pudding, but it never really tasted as great as Pinterest would lead me to believe. So I gave it a few trials and came up with this version. Quick and easy to make, vegan, and healthy enough to feed the kids. Utterly gorgeous.
Avocado Chocolate Almond Mousse
1 ripe avocado
75ml almond milk (or cow, hazelnut, soya – whatever you prefer)
2 tbsp agave nectar, sugar or honey
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp almond extract
pinch of salt
Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor, or use a hand-held blender, and blend until smooth. Put into serving dishes and chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
