Avocado Almond Chocolate Mousse is creamy and rich. The avocado flavour fades away but creates a dreamy smooth mousse!
Chocolate is amazing. Chocolate mousse is amazing. Healthy chocolate mousse with avocado?? Even better! I’ve tried a number of recipes for Avocado Chocolate Mousse/Pudding, but it never really tasted as great as Pinterest would lead me to believe. So I gave it a few trials and came up with this version. Quick and easy to make, vegan, and healthy enough to feed the kids. Utterly gorgeous.
The avocado makes the mousse super creamy and the flavour of the almond masks any avo. The mousse is rich and chocolaty with almond.
- 1 ripe avocado
- 75ml (1/3 cup) almond milk (or cow, hazelnut, soya - whatever you prefer)
- 2 tbsp agave nectar, sugar or honey
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp almond extract
- pinch of salt
- Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor, or use a hand-held blender, and blend until smooth.
- Put into serving dishes and chill in the fridge for at least an hour.
