Acai Smoothie Bowl

This tasty and vibrant acai smoothie bowl is a delicious vegan breakfast. It only takes a minute or so to whiz the freeze dried acai berry powder with a few simple ingredients. Berries, banana and oats bring extra goodness and make this smoothie bowl filling and delicious.

For the acai bowl

  • ½ cup (125ml) dairy free milk I used oat but others work well
  • 1 handful frozen berries
  • 1/2 a banana
  • 3 tbsp oats
  • 2 tsp of acai powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Optional garnishes

  • Frozen or fresh berries
  • Coconut
  • Nuts
  • Seeds
  • Granola


  • Place all the ingredients for the acai bowl into the blender and whiz until smooth.
  • Spoon into serving bowls and add desired toppings.


Best when eaten immediately, but will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
