Chocolate Quinoa Bars Recipe
These one-bowl chocolate quinoa squares are really quick and easy to make. They're a great snack to cook with kids, plus they're filling and vegan.

- 50 g puffed quinoa (or substitute puffed wheat or rice cereal)
- 225 g oats
- 100 g dark chocolate , chopped into chunks
- 175 g maple syrup
- 6 tbsp raisins
- 5 tbsp coconut oil , melted
- 3 tbsp desiccated coconut
- 2 tbsp nut butter
Preheat oven to 180C/350F. Line a 8x8’ square baking pan with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together well.
Spread out into the prepared pan and pat down with the back of a spoon.
Bake for 15 minutes, then allow to cool slightly in the tray. Cut into bars and enjoy.
