The Christmas treats that kids love are often loaded with fat and sugar. I love baking festive biscuits with my children, but it’s even better when I can gather the kids in the kitchen to make something fun, healthy and tasty.
These coconut snowmen are simply almond coconut bliss balls threaded onto sticks and decorated. They’re no-bake and can be made in 10 minutes! Decorate them with raisins and dried apricots and add a scarf.

Why do I choose organic whenever I can? I’d rather not expose myself and my family to a cocktail of chemicals on our fresh fruit and veg, and I’d prefer that the produce we eat is more nutritious. I also want to make sure that we tread more softly on the planet.

How to make Coconut Bliss Ball Snowmen
You only need 6 ingredients (plus some decoration) to make these refined sugar-free, vegan, gluten-free coconut snowmen! I chose organic so I know that there aren’t any nasties in the fun festive treats.
All of the ingredients are easy to find organic.
Ideally you’ll also have some little hands helping to make them. This is a perfect festive afternoon activity, where the little ones can get creative – then tuck into a healthy snack.
I used kitchen scissors to then cut raisins into little balls and dried apricots into triangles to decorate them.

Turn easy no-bake almond and coconut bliss balls into fun Christmas snowmen. An easy, healthy and tasty festive treat for kids.
- 150 g unsweetened shredded coconut plus extra for rolling
- 6 tbsp ground almond almond meal
- 3 tbsp unsweetened coconut milk shake the can well first
- 3 tbsp coconut oil melted
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp almond extract or vanilla
- Cake pop sticks
- Dried Apricots
- Teeny Tiny Wooly Hats
Whiz all snowball ingredients in a food processor or blender, scraping the sides down often, until it sticky and well combined.
Roll balls of the mixture into balls, and roll each ball into more shredded coconut. Thread three balls onto each stick.
Cut the raisins into small pieces for the snowman eyes and mouths, and the apricots into triangles for the noses. Decorate with the raisin and apricot pieces and add any tiny hats or scarves! Store in the fridge.
Nutrition is calculated per ball, not per snowman.
